Antorio Banderas creates his first Men’s Clothing Collection

Antonio Banderas, the 55-year-old actor has been studying fashion design at Central Saint Martins in London. Last May fe has presented his first collection in collaboration with Selected, a Scandinavian high-street brand that is led by  designer Daniel Struzinski.

Struzinksi tried to capture Banderas’ “everyday man” dress style. Banderas declared “In the morning, I wear jeans, something comfortable, sneakers, a T-shirt and maybe a leather jacket, and I go out”.  “If I have meetings, dress a little bit more elegant so I wear chinos, a blazer to have a meeting with the producer, or a cocktail dress. At night If I have a  red carpet, I prefer using a tuxedo or a black suit.”

The coats and jackets linings are Banderas’ signature shade of ocean blue, inspired by his homeland Spain. The functional leather jacket, designed for motorcycle wear, has gold detailing, which Banderas said is inspired by the gold and leather outfits that Versace did back in the ’80s.

Lady Gaga and Sir Elton John together for a cause.

One of the most iconic singer of our time, Lady Gaga,  has collaborated with the British legend, Sir Elton John for a charity fashion project. They are the face of  “Love Bravery Line” , a fashion clothes and accessories collection which is designed to inspire compassion and fight prejudice as part of Macy’s American Icons campaign.

This limited edition line includes tees, outerwear, bags, backpacks, scarves, jewelry, pins, keyrings,  skateboards and even speakers. The collection will have funny yet minimal graphic prints that fuse both the artists’ musical and personal style.

Created in collaboration with Lady Gaga’s sister, Natali Germanotta, and  Brandon Maxwell, the collection has been described as  a “high-spirited line that will inspire compassion and combat prejudice”.

The Love Bravery line will be sold exclusively at Macy’s department store from August 30th, 2016. 25 % of the purchase price will be donated to Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation and Elton John AIDS Foundation.

The “New Normal” Campaign by Giorgio Armani

The Giorgio Armani brand has launched its new “New Normal” campaign for spring/summer 2016, featuring four legends of the ‘90s supermodel generation, Nadja Auermann, Yasmin Le Bon, Stella Tennant and Eva Herzigova.  Even if you were born in the 2000s or don’t remember anything from the ‘90s, this fashion campaign will still make you wish you lived those great 10 years to the fullest. The campaign is very classic, just as other brands and designers are putting out the latest trends like the ‘70s vibe, print dresses, and wide-legged pants, Armani’s new video tops it all! There are no trends here, because trends pass over time. We all know the skirt you’ve paid $100 for today might not be wearable next year. What we see in Armani’s campaign is standards of beauty, style, strong femininity. The brand has combined its forces with German photographer Peter Lindbergh to create a very elegant and sophisticated black and white campaign. Armani is betting on the classic looks that you can wear for “everyday life.” Armani’s basics are soft and flowy white shirts, blazer jackets, suits, and all made from fabrics that are a pleasure to touch.
