Let’s take a first glimpse of the new Gucci 2016 Collection.  Ever since Frida Giannini’s sudden departure from Gucci in January, the eyes of the fashion world have been on Alessandro Michele, who was thrust into his role as creative director at breakneck speed with just a month to design and prepare his womenswear debut for the house.  In the hands of Michele, Gucci is colorful and wonderfully retro, there are distinct themes to each layer of the collections he has so far produced, calling upon the Gucci archives for inspiration. Prada’s newest collection for Spring/Summer 2016 features bags in different styles like stripe pattern, mixture of python and crocodile, color block. The Inside Tote  returns for 2016 in stripes and new colours. Prada handbags are covered with rabbits, arrows, rockets and eyes, interspersed and imposed on shiny exotic skins. A new flap bag design is also included in the runway with chain handles and python body with flap in crocodile or striped python. Prada new 2016 ad campaign is photographed by Steven Meisel starring models Lineisy Montero, Meghan Collison, Lexi Boling, Ina Maribo Jensen and Julia Nobis, Pictures are taken in a industrial scenery with flashes and a hint of night glamour that take us to a nightclub in the 80’s.

Sneakers that makes a statement

Coming in black, grey, white, and  gold and silver limited editions, the Light sneakers from Wize&Ope are special shoes with lights in the soles. The led color can be switched on and off and the battery  lasts for 6 hours. They can be switched to white, blue, green, red, yellow, purple, turquoise.
