Designer Wedding Shoes

On her wedding  every bride would feel absolutely beautiful, so in addition to the perfect dress that has been meticulously made for her, she’d love to find the perfect shoes.  Once upon a time wedding shoes were limited to ivory courts with a high heel. But now we’re totally spoilt as designers  are offering more on-trend wedding styles than ever before.  There’s peep-toe pumps, lace-up sandals and everything in between in this totally covetable edit.  The daring bride should look to Aquazzura and Nicholas Kirkwood for fantastical heels full of character and impact. For those looking for something equally as stylish but with a little less impact – or height – look to Dolce & Gabbana and their  gorgeous pumps made in lace with jewel embellishment.

Gucci Androgynous Direction

Alessandro Michele,  creative director of Gucci, is the head behind the brand’s new, androgynous direction. “I’d like to present my men’s and ladies’ collections together,” he said. “It’s the way I see the world today. It will not be an easy, but I believe it will give me the chance to move towards a different kind of approach to my fashion. This road has been already opened by Burberry and Tom Ford, unisex fashion is on the rise, as is fashion that makes the wearer and viewer reconsider what we habitually label as either ‘masculine’ or ‘feminine.’

“Having separate shows for men and women is largely a result of now outdated and oftentimes inconvenient traditions” says Marco Bizzarri, chief executive officer of Gucci Shop. “Producing one show each season will significantly help to simplify many aspects of our business”.
