Since 1889, Maison Lanvin has been enhancing and glorifying the women of its day. The Lanvin “Sugar Bag” is made in a discreet rectangular shape that wraps around 3 pleats. Marc Jacobs says goodbye to his cheaper line Marc by Marc and will manage from now on just the main line “Marc Jacobs”. New edgy Marc Jacobs handbags are being sold for under $500. Stella Jean: a new star in Fashion’s Kingdom

Stella Jean was born and works in Rome.  In June 2013 she debuted her first menswear collection at Pitti Uomo, and in  was chosen by Giorgio Armani to showcase her designs as a guest in the Armani Teatro space during Milano Moda Donna. In April 2014 she was selected by the London’s Victoria and Albert Museum to exhibit several outfits from the S/S 2014 collection at the “Glamour of Italian Fashion 1945-2014″ exhibition. In 2014 she was nominated by the Business of Fashion as one of the “People Shaping the Global Fashion Industry in 2014″ in the annually published ranking list “BOF 500″. In 2015 she showcased her men’s FW 2015-2016 collection for the first time during Milano Moda Uomo. In June 2015 she participated in the Global Fashion Capitals exposition at the FIT Museum in New York, exhibiting one of her FW 14/15 creations. Her clothes have been worn by Rihanna and Beyoncé.



Gucci Androgynous Direction

Alessandro Michele,  creative director of Gucci, is the head behind the brand’s new, androgynous direction. “I’d like to present my men’s and ladies’ collections together,” he said. “It’s the way I see the world today. It will not be an easy, but I believe it will give me the chance to move towards a different kind of approach to my fashion. This road has been already opened by Burberry and Tom Ford,unisex fashion is on the rise, as is fashion that makes the wearer and viewer reconsider what we habitually label as either ‘masculine’ or ‘feminine.’

“Having separate shows for men and women is largely a result of now outdated and oftentimes inconvenient traditions” says Marco Bizzarri, chief executive officer of Gucci Shop. “Producing one show each season will significantly help to simplify many aspects of our business”.


Lady Gaga and Sir Elton John together for a cause.

One of the most iconic singer of our time, Lady Gaga,  has collaborated with the British legend, Sir Elton John for a charity fashion project. They are the face of  “Love Bravery Line” , a fashion clothes and accessories collection which is designed to inspire compassion and fight prejudice as part of Macy’s American Icons campaign.

This limited edition line includes tees, outerwear, bags, backpacks, scarves, jewelry, pins, keyrings,  skateboards and even speakers. The collection will have funny yet minimal graphic prints that fuse both the artists’ musical and personal style.

Created in collaboration with Lady Gaga’s sister, Natali Germanotta, and  Brandon Maxwell, the collection has been described as  a “high-spirited line that will inspire compassion and combat prejudice”.

The Love Bravery line will be sold exclusively at Macy’s department store from August 30th, 2016. 25 % of the purchase price will be donated to Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation and Elton John AIDS Foundation.
